Vietnamese Clay Pot FIsh image

This is absolutely delicious.

Number Of Ingredients 7

4-6 bass filets depending on how big your clay pot is
black pepper
1 1/2 c caramel fish sauce recipe already posted
1/4 c chicken stock
1 Tbsp each grated ginger and minced garlic
2 thai chilies seeded and chopped
4 sprig(s) cilantro plus more for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Season the fish with black pepper. Lay in a single layer in clay pot, saucepan, or high sided frying pan. Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over the fish.
  • 2. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to just have it simmer. Place a lid and cook for about 6 minutes.Garnish with cilantro
