BANANA SOUR CREAM CAKE image

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 egg whites
3 over riped bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Grease lightly an angle foodcake pan. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg whites. Add mashed bananas, vanilla and sour cream. In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Fold into creamed mixture just until blended. Spoon mixture into the prepared pan and bake for approx. 45 minutes.
