Iowa Dirt Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 packages instant chocolate or instant vanilla pudding
3 1/2 cups milk
1 (12-ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (20-ounce) package Oreo Cookies, crushed

Steps:

  • Blend butter, sugar, and cream cheese. Mix pudding with milk and fold in Cool Whip. Fold in cream cheese mixture. Put 2/3 of crushed Oreos in a 9x13-inch pan. Pat down. Cover with Cool Whip mixture. Sprinkle remaining Oreos on top. Refrigerate to set. You may want to decorate with gummy worms.
