Green Goddess Dressing image

This spunky green-flecked salad dressing can also be used as a sauce for hot or cold seafood or poultry. We loved it with deep-fried shrimp and pan-seared scallops. Make it your way with the variation below.

1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
8 anchovy fillets, finely chopped*
3 tablespoons tarragon or wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Steps:

  • In small bowl, mix all ingredients until well blended. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors.
