Cranberry Jello salad image

This has always been a Christmas and Thanks Giving favorite in our family. It started with my grandmother and now it's been passed down to my own daughter. I certainly hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 can(s) cranberry sauce
1 can(s) whole caberries
1 can(s) canned mandarin oranges (drained)
1 can(s) cherry pie filling
1 can(s) fruit cocktail, canned (drained)
2 box any red jello mix
1/2 c pecans, in pieces
1 c marshmallows, mini

Steps:

  • 1. Dissolve Jello in 1 cup of hot water. Then add 2 cups of cold water to jello and refrigerate for about an hour or until thick.
  • 2. Then add the remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Pour jello mixture into a decorative bowl and top with mini marshmallows. Do not mix them in.
  • 3. Cover the bowl with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours. It's normal for the jello not to set completely, but it should not be watery.
