1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 jar(s) sliced mushrooms (4 1/2 ounce)
1/3 c mayonnaise
6 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 c finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, combine the cheese, mushrooms, mayo, and bacon.
  • 2. Cover and refrigerate.
  • 3. In another bowl, combine onion, salt, peppers garlic powder and pepper sauce.
  • 4. Add ground beef and mix well.
  • 5. Shape into 6 (1/2in) thick patties.
  • 6. Grill, covered over medium-hot heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • 7. Spoon cheese mixture on top of each burger.
  • 8. Grill until cheese begins to melt.
  • 9. Serve on warm hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato if desired.

6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
6 hamburger buns, split
Lettuce leaves and tomato slices, optional

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine cheese, mushrooms, mayonnaise and bacon; cover and refrigerate. In another bowl, combine the beef, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder and hot pepper sauce. Shape into six 1/2-in.-thick patties. , Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat for 4-5 minutes on each side. Spoon cheese mixture on top of each burger. Grill 1-2 minutes longer or until the cheese begins to melt. Serve on buns with lettuce and tomato if desired.
