My family has always been crazy about this recipe. Its really simple to put together. It is some what spicy so be careful.Enjoy

- 1. Cook meat, pepper,and onion, drain, Add seasoning and rotel tomatoes. Layer chips in baking dish then layer meat and cheese then repeat process. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes

- Preheat oven to 375*.
- Brown beef in skillet, drain.
- Add 1 1/2 cup tomato sauce and the taco seasoning.
- Line bottom of 2 qt shallow baking dish with 2 cups corn chips.
- Crush remaining corn chips, set aside.
- Spoon meat mixture over corn chips in baking dish.
- Combine remaining tomato sauce and the beans; spread over meat.
- Bake, covered, for 25 minutes.
- Uncover, sprinkle with cheese and crushed corn chips and bake another 7 minutes.

LAYERED TOSTADA CASSEROLE RECIPE

- CHILI: Brown meat & onions in pan, when browned, add tomatoes and chili water mixture and simmer for 30 minutes. Meantime: Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. . Place the refried beans into the bottom of a 9" round casserole pan and mash with the taco seasoning. Cover with half of the cheese. Spread the chili over the cheese layer, cover with the rest of the cheese and sprinkle with the olives. Bake in oven for 30 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted. Serve with tortilla chips.

A lot of my recipes are for 1-2 people bcz I lived alone, so I just made this up for Dinner never made a Tostado Casserole before and it is good.

Steps:
- 1. Brown Hamburger (no need to drain 96% fat free) and pour 1/2 the taco pkg in with the meat and about 1/3 cup water. Cook until it begins to thicken.
- 2. Spoon refried bean onto the tostada shells kinda thick and put in the bottom of an 8" inch Cast Iron Skillet. Or just move the meat over in the skillet and set the shells on the juices like I did so the shells will soak it up. That's what I wanted it to do. Then add onion on top of the Refried Beans and keep shuffeling the meat around to put the onions on the beans. Then spread the meat over the onions. You want Juices, Tostadas, refried beans, onion then meat in that order.
- 3. Sprinkle corn all over the top. Now cover with the Cheese.
- 4. Top with Fresh or frozen cilantro
- 5. Bake at 350 about 10-15 minutes You don't want it to dry out. You might want to add 1-2 tbsp. of water if you want it juicer.
- 6. Serve with cut up tomato and La Victoria Green Taco Sauce. Everything goes good with this Taco Sauce. And a dollop of sour cream.
TOSTADA CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Cook ground beef, season with taco seasoning. After meat is cooked, mix 1/2 can of the tomato sauce in meat and set aside. Mix beans, taco sauce, and the rest of the tomato sauce in a bowl.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. In a casserole dish layer corn chips, then meat mixture, then bean mixture, then cheese. Repeat layers until filled. Top with corn chips and cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Top with layer of taco sauce and cheese. Bake 5 more minutes and serve.
