Pomegranate Sunrise is a great non-alcoholic drink to make for a summer dinner party or BBQ. A delicious way to cool off and indulge a little bit!

ice
20 ounces Sprite (or any other clear soda)
40 ounces orange juice ((about 1 carton or jug))
1/3 cup Grenadine syrup (can be found by the drink mixers section of the grocery store)

Steps:

  • Fill each 12-ounce glass half-full with ice.
  • Fill glass about 1/3 full of Sprite (about 3 ounces) and fill the rest of the way with orange juice (6 ounces).
  • Stir gently to combine. Add a splash of Grenadine syrup and serve!
  • Garnish with oranges or cherries (makes approximately six 12-ounce glasses).

1 liter fresh fruit juice
2 liters lemon/lime soda

Steps:

  • Pour one liter of fresh fruit juice (orange, grapefruit, strawberry, etc.) into a large punchbowl. Add 2 liters of your favorite lemon/lime soda (try diet for an even healthier option). Scoop in a pint of your favorite fruit sorbet (raspberry, orange or lime are all great flavors) and serve.

This pretty drink with layers of orange juice and grenadine is delicious on a hot day. The fact that the ratio of juice to tequila is high makes it a good choice for a brunch cocktail.

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger tequila
¾ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
ice cubes
½ (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger grenadine syrup
1 slice orange, for garnish
1 maraschino cherry for garnish

Steps:

  • Stir or shake together tequila and orange juice. Fill a chilled 12 ounce glass with ice cubes; pour in orange juice mixture. Slowly pour in the grenadine, and allow it to settle to the bottom of the glass (be patient). Garnish with a slice of orange, and a maraschino cherry.
