TENDER OVEN BAKED BBQ RIBS THAT FALL OFF THE BONE

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil;
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, garlic powder, granulated onion, chili powder, paprika, salt, peppers, and cumin until combined;
- Coat the ribs on both sides with your spice blend, then brush with olive oil and place onto the baking sheet;
- Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and place into the oven for 30 minutes;
- While the ribs are cooking, blend the barbecue sauce, garlic powder, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and salt then divide into two bowls and set aside;
- Remove from the oven, flip the ribs, baste with the juices, and 1/4 of the barbecue sauce blend, then cover again and cook for an additional 30 minutes;
- Flip the ribs again, baste with more the juices in the pan, and cook for an additional 30 minutes;
- Baste the ribs again with another 1/4 the barbecue sauce (or half of the half you put aside), flip them, and then recover and cook for another 30-minutes;
- Remove the foil from the ribs, flip them again, and coat with the juices in the pan before cooking in 10-minute increments until the internal temperature has reached 145°F and the meat is falling off the bones and tender;
- Serve cut apart and with additional sauce for dipping.

- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
- In a shallow baking pan or roaster, place ribs in a single layer; salt if desired. Spread the garlic on the ribs, then place the lemon slices on top. Bake in a preheated oven for 2 hours - the ribs should be tender. Drain any grease and liquid. Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs. Return to oven and bake one more hour at 200 to 250 degrees F.

OVEN-BRAISED COUNTRY STYLE PORK RIBS WITH APPLE CIDER
Steps:
- Gather all ingredients.
- Heat the oven to 300 F (150 C/Gas 2).
- Sprinkle the pork ribs with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the ribs, in batches if necessary, and sear on all sides. Remove to a plate and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pan. Add the onion, carrot, and celery. Cook, stirring until onion is translucent and lightly browned. Add the minced garlic and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes longer.
- Add the ribs back to the pan. In a bowl, combine the cider, vinegar, chicken broth, and tomato paste; blend well. Add the bay leaves and thyme; pour over the ribs. Cover the Dutch oven and bake for 3 hours, or until very tender.
- Skim the fat from the juices and remove bay leaves. Taste and add salt and pepper, if needed. If desired, thicken the juices (see note below).
- Serve the ribs with the vegetables and juices, along with boiled or mashed potatoes. Note: To thicken the juices, combine 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour with 2 tablespoons of cold water, stirring until smooth. Bring the skimmed juices to a simmer on the stovetop; stir in the flour mixture and cook, stirring, until thickened.

~ TENDER CIDER BARBECUED COUNTRY RIBS ~
I had apple cider and ribs, so this is what I put together and it was so good! I hope you try it sometime.. The cider gave them great flavor along with the garlic. Yum!

- 1. Line crock pot with plastic liner for less mess. Place onion in the bottom. Sprinkle ribs with garlic salt and pepper, evenly. Place on top of onion. Sprinkle ribs with garlic and pepper flakes. Pour cider into pot. Sprinkle ribs evenly with garlic and brown sugar. Toss to coat. Place lid on pot and cook on high for 4 hours or until tender. Remove the ribs and onions from bag and discard bag.
- 2. Place another bag in pot and add half the sauce. Return ribs, add remaining sauce to cover top of ribs and cook for another hour.

- Place spareribs in a large stock pot with barbeque sauce, onion, salt, and pepper. Pour in enough water to cover. Bring to a low boil, and cook approximately 40 minutes.

Steps:
- Mix white sugar, brown sugar, sea salt, chile powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ancho chile powder, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, cumin, nutmeg, allspice, and cayenne pepper together in a bowl to make the rib rub.
- Coat ribs evenly with rub. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator, 8 hours to overnight.
- Preheat smoker to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) per manufacturer's instructions. Place ribs on smoker meat-side up. Smoke until browned, about 1 1/2 hour. Remove from smoker.
- Pour apple cider into an aluminum roasting pan. Position ribs in the pan, standing on end if needed. Cover with aluminum foil. Return to the smoker. Continue smoking ribs until tender, about 2 hours more.
- Transfer ribs to a grill. Brush barbeque sauce on top. Grill until dark brown, about 10 minutes per side.
