3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup coconut oil
16 cups hot, freshly popped popcorn

Steps:

  • Stir the confectioners' sugar, paprika, salt, garlic powder, cumin and cayenne together in a small bowl. Heat the coconut oil in a very large pot with a lid over medium heat. Add the popcorn and half of the sugar mixture, cover the pot and shake to coat. Add the remaining sugar mixture and continue to shake until well coated. Serve immediately.

1 tablespoon butter
5 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dash salt

Steps:

  • Place popcorn in a large bowl. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt butter; whisk in the pudding mix, corn syrup, vanilla and salt until smooth. , Microwave, uncovered, for 45 seconds or until bubbly. Pour over popcorn; toss to coat. Spread in two 15x10x1-in. baking pans coated with cooking spray., Bake at 250° for 25-30 minutes or until crisp, stirring once. Remove popcorn from pans to waxed paper to cool. Break into clusters. Store in airtight containers.

6 cups popped white popcorn
1 cup salted roasted nuts (one kind, or a mixture), optional
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup orange-blossom honey
1 teaspoon coarse salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place popcorn and nuts in a large ovenproof bowl, and keep warm in oven. Pour sugar into a small, heavy saucepan and place over medium-low heat. When sugar is melted and a light caramel color, add honey and stir until smooth and liquid. Remove from heat.
  • Take popcorn from oven, sprinkle it with salt, and then pour sugar syrup over it. Using a potholder to steady bowl with one hand, stir quickly, using a large fork, to fluff and coat corn. Spread on baking sheet, and let cool. Break into large pieces and eat as a sweet snack. Store in an airtight tin.

3 quarts popped popcorn
4 cups Cheerios
4 cups Corn or Rice Chex
2 cups salted peanuts
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup butter, cubed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

  • In a large greased roasting pan, combine the popcorn, cereal and peanuts. In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter; bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. , Remove from the heat; quickly stir in vanilla and baking soda until mixture is light and foamy. Immediately pour over popcorn mixture; mix well.
