Spiced Pear Cider Recipe - (4.6/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 quarts fresh apple cider
2 quarts pear juice, unsweetened
2 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 star anise
1 vanilla bean pod
fresh pear slices

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer. Serve with pear slices and extra cinnamon sticks.
