I learned this recipe years ago from a friend. She made one and I was hooked at first bite. Very easy to make. Very simple to bake! Enjoy!

Time 1h15m

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 can(s) unsweetened peaches
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon and nutmeg

Steps:

  • 1. Use a rectangle glass baking dish. You will need at least 8 X 13 size dish. No mixing is involved with making this dessert.
  • 2. Coat you dish with margarine or butter. Dump in: Peaches Vanilla extract (Cinnamon and Nutmeg if you choose to add these ingredients) Almond extract Cream of Tarter I like to add some melted margarine to the wet mixture. Maybe half a stick.
  • 3. Open your cake mix: Evenly dump the entire cake mix on top of the wet ingredients. Cut up your margarine and put the squares evenly on top of the dry cake mix. You can also melt the margarine and pour it on top of the cake mix. Whichever works for your mixture.
  • 4. Cover with aluminum foil and place into the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until everything begins to bubble and bake. Remove when it gets slightly, slightly browned like a light tanned color. Let the cake cool a bit. Serve it warm and in scoops. You can top it with ice cream or put it on the side. You can also top it with whip cream.
