Pasta Kugel image

A rich and slightly sweet kugel to serve at any meal, buffet or party. Reheats well.

Number Of Ingredients 10

12 oz vermicelli or fine noodles, cooked and drained and broken in half
1 pkg (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c butter, melted
4 eggs, beaten
1 c sour cream
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c golden raisins (optional)
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Cream cheese and butter, mixing until well blended.
  • 2. Blend in eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla and salt.
  • 3. Add cooked pasta and raisins. Mix well.
  • 4. Pour mixture into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
