Caramel Apple Dump Cake image

The recipe did not call for oatmeal. I decided to add it. Was a hit! Husband had 2 pieces right away!!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 box(es) yellow cake mix
1 cup(s) oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 cup(s) caramel ice cream topping
12 can(s) apple pie filling
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1/2 cup(s) chopped pecans (optional)
1 cup(s) butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Mix pie filling & caramel topping. Spread in pan. Mix cake mix & oatmeal. Sprinkle cake mix over filling.
  • Sprinkle on pecans & drizzle butter over the top. Bake for 45 min or until golden brown & bubbly.
  • Serve with cool whip or ice cream.
