NEW YORK ONION SAUCE image

Yield 4 hotdogs

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 medium onions thinly sliced
2 tbsp veg oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup water
1 tsp Franks red hot sauce or other hot sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. In a hot skillet, saute onions in veg oil on low heat for about 15 mins. 2.stir in chli powder and cinnamon. 3. Cook and stir one more min. 4.Sir in ketchup,water and hot sauce. 5.Add salt and pepper.
