Homemade Crock Pot Baked Beans image

These are so easy to make without all the preservatives you get from buying in the can. I like to also add bacon but didn't have any..... Bacon doesn't last long in this house! LOL

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb dryed navy beans
1 large white onion
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c molassas
1 Tbsp liguid smoke
1 Tbsp grey poupon
1/4 c maple syrup
1/2 c ketchup

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse and drain your navy beans and add with fresh water in a large crock pot. (You can soak them over night)
  • 2. Turn on high and cook until tender but not mushy. Drain the juice Add diced onion
  • 3. In a mixing bowl combine all other ingredients, mix up and add to your beans an onions. Cook on low for another hour.
