HOLIDAY APPLE CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup oil
3 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup orange juice
3 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
4 large apples (golden delicious), peeled and sliced

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil & vanilla. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture alternating with orange juice. Combine cinnamon and sugar. In a tube pan (greased or "Pammed"), Layer 1/3 batter, 1/3 apples, 1/3 cinnamon sugar. Repeat 2 times. Bake @ 325 for 1 1/2 (to 2 hours.
