GRASSHOPPER DESSERT image

This dessert is good with chopped pecans or chopped nuts of any kind.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (6) oz. pkg lime jello gelatin
1/4 c sugar
2 c boiling water
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
2 c prepared dream whip or whipped topping

Steps:

  • 1. Dessolve geltin and sugar in boiling water. Add cold water and flavoring, chill in a bowl until slightly thickened.
  • 2. Chill remaining gelatin in a 9 by 5 inch loaf panuntil firm. Cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
  • 3. Blend topping with the slightly thickened gelatin. Pour into a 4 c. sercing bowl and garnish.
