Corn Pudding, Tangier Island Recipe - (3.8/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cans creamed corn
4 eggs lightly beaten
2 cans evaporated milk
1 c sugar
4 T butter
2 t vanilla extract
3 T cornstarch

Steps:

  • Mix cornstarch and sugar; add eggs and melted butter. Mix in the corn and evaporated milk; add vanilla extract. Pour into buttered casserole dish (13x9) and bake at 350 degrees for at least 1 hour. Shake lightly to see if it appears set. Serve hot (let stand 5-10 minutes) or cold.
