CHAMPAGNE CHICKEN image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 frying chicken (approx 2 lbs)
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 bottle champagne
1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in water

Steps:

  • Brown chicken in butter Add garlic, salt, pepper and champagne enough to cover chicken. Simmer covered for 15 minutes. Add more champagne continue to simmer for 15 minutes. Repeat until all champagne is gone. Remove chicken and reduce with corn starch to produce gravy.
