Here, pomegranate and lemon sharpen the sunny New World flavor of cranberries.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups chilled unsweetened pomegranate juice
1 cup chilled cranberry juice
1 cup (8 ounces) vodka
1 cup (8 ounces) Cointreau or other orange-flavored liqueur
1 cup chilled club soda
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (from 2 to 3 lemons)
1/2 cup Simple Syrup for Mixed Drinks
Cranberries frozen in ice cubes

Steps:

  • Combine pomegranate and cranberry juice, vodka, Cointreau, club soda, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a punch bowl. Fill glasses with cranberries frozen in ice cubes, and serve.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice, chilled
4 cups cranberry-apple juice, chilled
1 liter ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring the water, sugar and cinnamon to a boil; stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill. Just before serving, combine the syrup mixture, juices and ginger ale in a punch bowl or large pitcher. Serve over ice.
