Easy 4 ingredient cake mix cookie bars - these are always a crowd pleaser!

1 (15 oz) box of yellow cake mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup olive oil (can substitute melted butter or vegetable oil also)
12 oz bag of chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Beat eggs in a small bowl
  • Add cake mix and olive oil to the beaten eggs and mix well
  • Beat in chocolate chips (batter will be very thick)
  • Grease a 9 X 13 baking dish (see notes for thickness)
  • Spread batter evenly in the dish (this will take several minutes to spread evenly)
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
  • Once cooled, cover or store in an airtight container
  • Enjoy!

Everybody loves cake! Fluffy and sweet. Now take a simple cake mix and jazz it up by turning them into bars. Feel free to frost the bars.

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
½ cup butter, melted
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
½ cup peanuts
⅓ cup English toffee bits
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup butterscotch chips
⅓ cup shredded coconut, or to taste
1 (16 ounce) package prepared chocolate frosting

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine cake mix, butter, brown sugar, and eggs in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally, until well mixed. Stir in peanuts and toffee; spread into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and coconut on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and coat with frosting. Cut into squares.

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ white cake mix
1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors rainbow mix
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Assorted candy sprinkles

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, beat sugar cookie mix, cake mix, melted butter, eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed about 1 minute or until blended. Stir in 3 tablespoons candy sprinkles. Spread in pan.
  • Bake 32 to 34 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.
  • In large bowl, beat 1 cup softened butter, the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla until combined. Add additional milk 1 teaspoon at a time until spreading consistency. Spread over cooled bars. Sprinkle with assorted candy sprinkles. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
2 large eggs
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
¼ cup margarine

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a bowl using an electric mixer until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside 1/3 of the mixture; press remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and margarine in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring and checking for completion, about 2 minutes. Pour evenly over the crust. Drop teaspoonfuls of the reserved crust mixture on top.

1 yellow cake mix (regular size)
1 large egg
1/2 cup 2% milk
1/3 cup canola oil
1 cup white baking chips
1/3 cup jimmies

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg, milk and oil (mixture will be thick). Stir in baking chips and jimmies. Spread into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan., Bake 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Freeze option: Freeze bars in freezer containers. To use, thaw in covered containers before serving.
