1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
1 cup milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon crumbled dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon crumbled dried rosemary
1/2 cup shredded American cheese or 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix
2 cups diced cooked ham
2 cups cut asparagus spears, cooked and drained
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine cream of celery soup, milk, onion, marjoram, and rosemary; heat over medium heat just to boiling. Add cheese; stir until mixture is smooth and cheese is melted.
  • In a lightly buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole, layer 1/3 of the dry stuffing mix; top with half of the ham, half of the asparagus, and half of the cheese sauce.
  • Repeat layers. Mix remaining 1/3 of the stuffing mix with 1 tablespoon melted butter; sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until casserole is hot and bubbly.

2 cups crushed saltine crackers
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of asparagus soup, undiluted
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
hot sauce
1/2 lb American cheese, cut into cubes
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 egg

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients and stir well.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH 3 to 3-1/2 hours.

1 large flour tortilla
2 to 3 Tbsp salsa, preferably home made
3 inch square of ham, asparagus and cheese make ahead casserole
add ins:
1 slice pepper jack cheese
sour cream, lettuce, chopped raw onion, diced tomatoes

Steps:

  • 1. Cut the square of casserole in half to fit tortilla lengthwise.
  • 2. Place a slice of pepper jack cheese on the halves, and microwave for 1 minute, or until hot.
  • 3. Place the egg casserole on a tortilla, add salsa and whatever toppings you like, roll up and enjoy.

One to two pounds of fresh asparagus.
One lb. of fresh mushrooms.
One half pound of finlandia swiss cheese.
Butter

Steps:

  • Cut off large ends of asparagus. Cook 4 to 5 minutes in boiling water. Add a little salt to water. Drain water and set aside. Cover bottom of casserole dish with asparagus. Using fresh sliced mushrooms cover asparagus completely. Add three or four pats of butter. Lay swiss cheese on top of mushrooms and butter and repeat all layers until you get to the top of the casserole dish. Cover Bake at 400 degrees for 1/2 hour. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

6 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c shredded mozarella
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar, divided
7 oz (8 slices) pepper jack cheese
6 to 8 oz cooked ham, diced
14 1/2 oz can of asparagus, drained
2 tsp dry minced onion
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dry mustard
salt and pepper to taste
1 c bisquick
2 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Spray a 9x13 pan with non stick spray.
  • 2. Preheat oven to 350°
  • 3. Mix everything up in the order given,using 1 cup chedddar, and reserving the pepper jack cheese.
  • 4. Bake until set in the center, about 1 hour, the last 10 minutes of baking scatter the reserved cheddar, and arrange the pepper jack cheese on top.
  • 5. Bake until center is set, about 1 hour.

1 teaspoon(s) butter, unsalted
3 tablespoon(s) flour
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
1/4 teaspoon(s) mace, ground
1 cup(s) milk
1/2 cup(s) whipping cream
10 3/4 ounce(s) asparagus spears frozen, cooked and drained
2 large eggs, hard boiled and chopped
3/4 cup(s) cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup(s) almonds, blanched and minced
1 cup(s) bread crumbs, fresh
1/4 cup(s) parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a medium saucepan set over moderate heat, melt the butter; spoon 4 tablespoons of the melted butter into a bowl and set aside.
  • Blend the flour, salt, pepper and mace into the rest of the butter and let it sit over low heat for 1-to-2 minutes; add the milk and cream and cook the sauce, stirring constantly for about 3 minutes, until it has become thick and smooth.
  • In a well-buttered, 2-quart casserole, alternate layers of the asparagus, eggs, cheddar cheese and almonds; pour the cream sauce over the layers.
  • Combine the reserved butter, bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and scatter the topping over the surface of the casserole.
  • Bake the uncovered casserole for about 30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the topping has browned.
