- Combine tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, peppers, pepperoni, mozzarella, basil and pasta in a big bowl. Whisk garlic salt, oregano or Italian seasoning, tomato paste and vinegar together. Stream in extra-virgin olive oil while continuing to whisk dressing. When oil is incorporated, pour dressing over pasta salad, add a few grinds of black pepper to the bowl, then toss salad to coat evenly. Adjust your seasonings and serve salad. Leftovers make a great lunch or snack the next day!
SUPREME PASTA SALAD
An Italian pasta salad with meat, cheese, veggies. Try switching out different ingredients, I usually use what I have on hand, so the recipe changes a bit, but this is my favorite version. I like it better when the veggies are chopped small. It takes a long time to chop up the veggies, so sometimes I like to throw them in the food processor and pulse them a few times. Enjoy!

- Mix salad dressing with seasoning.
- Place pasta, vegetables, cheese and meat in large salad bowl. Add dressing and seasoning; toss gently to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or until ready to serve. (I ALWAYS refrigerate overnight-its better the next day.) Toss before serving.
- (For the pasta, I cook to al dente, and rinse thoroughly with cold water to chill.).

- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, without adding the flavor packets. Drain noodles and cool. Cut noodles into large bite size pieces.
- In a large bowl combine the torn spinach leaves, cooked turkey or chicken, halved grapes, red pepper, cashews, Gorgonzola or blue cheese, and ramen noodles.
- In a small bowl mix flavor packets, garlic, and lemon juice and let stand at least 15 minutes. Add oil and mayonnaise and whisk until smooth.
- Pour dressing over salad and toss until thoroughly mixed. Garnish with red pepper rings and small grape clusters, if desired. Serve.

SUPREME PIZZA PASTA SALAD
This recipe comes straight from Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals. It really does taste like a Supreme Pizza. The best part is, you make it the day before you want to serve it and refrigerate. The cook time, is really chill time. I put down 2 hours, but it is really better the next day. NOTE: The original recipe calls for a pound of mozzarella cheese, but I only use 1/2 pound. If you like a lot of cheese...go for a pound!!!!

I don't even remember how long I've had this great recipe for pasta salad, but I know it's been over thirty years. It was given to me by a friend, when we lived in Michigan, and I've made it ever since, to the delight of my family! - 1. Boil pasta in large pot until al dente; drain. Do not rinse, let cool for a few minutes.
- 2. Add Italian dressing and 1/3 jar of Salad Supreme seasoning. (This mixture can marinate a few hours or overnight before continuing.)
- 3. Mix in chopped vegetables (and any other goodies you like) and chill. I usually will add ham, salami, mozzarella, olives, artichoke hearts or anything else I have in the pantry that "floats my boat". Haha!
- 4. You might like to add a couple of tablespoons of grated Romano or Parmesan for extra flavor.

Here is my recipe for pasta salad that I made for Labor Day. Feel free to adjust or embellish the recipe to your family's whims. Try using red pepper instead of green, dill pickle instead of olives, macaroni instead of bow ties, etc. It tastes better the second day. Play with the ratio of mayo to sour cream until you get a consistency you like. Most of all, enjoy making this recipe.
