Number Of Ingredients 12

1 large onion, chopped
1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pork tenderloins (3/4 pound each), cut into 1-inch cubes

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the first 11 ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into a large resealable plastic bag; add pork. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight. , Drain and discard marinade. Thread pork cubes onto six metal or soaked wooden skewers. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until juices run clear, turning occasionally.

1 pork tenderloin (about 1 pound)
2 tablespoons sweet paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
6 -8 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Cut pork tenderloin into 1-inch cubes.
  • In a bowl, combine paprika, cumin, cayenne, salt and pepper and olive oil.
  • Marinade pork for a minimum of 4 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • or preheat grill to medium high.
  • Thread pork cubes onto small wooden skewers.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in oven.
  • Alternatively grill over medium heat, about 10 minutes.
  • While cooking turn once and baste with marinate until well browned.

1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1 pinch saffron
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin, cut into cubes
salt and pepper
4 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps:

  • In a glass dish or a large sealable bag, combine all the ingredients. Add the meat and toss to coat. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  • Preheat the grill, setting the burners to medium. Oil the grate.
  • Thread the meat onto the skewers. Season with salt and pepper. Grill the skewers for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium rare or until the desired doneness.
  • Serve with grilled vegetable skewers.

1 1/4 lbs ground pork
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground paprika
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Soak 8 bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes (if using metal skewers, proceed to step 2). Drain and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, stir together the pork, garlic, cumin, paprika, onion, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs, each about the size of a golf ball, then thread the meat onto the skewers.
  • Lay skewers over medium coals or medium heat on a gas grill (you can hold your hand at grill level only 4 to 5 seconds); close lid on gas grill. Cook, turning once, until browned on both sides and no longer pink in the center, about 8 minutes. Serve warm.

Sweet & Spicy Pork Skewers image

Number Of Ingredients 11

5 pounds pork roast
1/4 cup garlic, finely minced
1 cup brown sugar
2 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup Sriracha
1 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 cup Soy Sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sriracha
1 tablespoon garlic, finely minced
18 pieces Pineapple, chunks, 1.5"

Steps:

  • Slice pork roast into 1/4" slices.
  • Weave onto skewers. Alternate pork with pineapple and set aside.
  • Mix next 5 ingredients and pour over meat. Allow to marinate up to 24 hours but at least 1 hour.
  • Grill at high heat to sear all sides of the skewer and place in a (grill safe) dish.
  • Mix remaining ingredients (and any remaining pineapple). Pour over grilled meat.
  • Cover with foil and allow to cook and sauce to thicken (about 10 minutes)

1 lb pork tenderloin
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp orange zest
1 clove garlic
2 tsp onion powder

Steps:

  • In a bowl whisk together oil, honey. Grate zest off of an orange and crush a clove of garlic, add to bowl. Add remaining spices and mix well.
  • Rinse and slice the pork tenderloin lengthwise in half. Slice each half lengthwise again until you have four long strips. Half each of these for eight slices of pork tenderloin total. Add these strips to the marinade bowl and turn to cover completely and let marinade for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Start the grill and skewer each of the pork strips, one per skewer. Grill 4 minutes each side, or until desired doneness. Serve with steamed rice and salad.
