No crust to roll out, much less calories, but still so delicious! Has a smooth custard filling and a crunchy golden top. Just dump all ingredients in blender, then bake. Recipe from Quick Cooking.

2 cups milk
4 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • In blender, combine all ingredients, cover and process until smooth.
  • Pour into greased 9" deep dish pie plate.
  • Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  • Cool on wire rack for 1 hour.
  • Refrigerate until serving.

This has to be the simplest recipe ever with very little cleanup. Measure out all the ingredients, toss into a blender and bake in a pie dish! Because of the flour, the pie makes it's own crust.

4 eggs
1/4 c butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c white sugar
1 pinch salt
2 c milk, 2% or other
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c white flour

Steps:

  • 1. Just throw all ingredients into your blender and mix on high for about a minute.
  • 2. Pour into a buttered pie plate, 9 inches. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake at 350 degrees for approx 45 minutes, until set and lightly browned.
