These are tender and the meat falls right off the bone. Generally, people think of baby back ribs as a meal they would only order when at a restaurant, but they are so easy to make at home. This recipe could not be any more simple.

2 pounds pork baby back ribs
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Tear off 4 pieces of aluminum foil big enough to enclose each portion of ribs. Spray each piece of foil with vegetable cooking spray. Brush the ribs liberally with barbeque sauce and place each portion in its own piece of foil. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Bake ribs wrapped tightly in the foil at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 2 1/2 hours. Remove from foil and add more sauce, if desired.

Oh hail ye mighty Reynolds Wrap! (We love this one from the Reynolds company) We have made these in the oven also and gotten great results. :)

3 lbs pork baby back ribs
1 tablespoon light brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat Grill to medium. Lay 2 sheets (18"x24" each) Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil on counter. Center half the ribs in a single layer on each sheet of foil.
  • Combine sugar and seasonings, rub over ribs. Bring up foil sides. Double fold top and one end to seal packet.
  • Pour in 1/4 cup water. Double fold remaining end, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Repeat to make two packets. Grill 45-60 minutes in covered grill.
  • Remove foil, place ribs on grill. Brush ribs with your favorite barbeque sauce. Continue grilling, 10-15 minute Brushing with sauce and turning every 5 minutes.
  • OVEN: Make packets as directed. Preheat oven to 320°F Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 2 hours Slice open tops of packages (watch for steam) and brush sauce on. Place back in oven for 15 minutes.

4 pounds pork baby back ribs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup ketchup
1 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon liquid smoke, optional
1 tablespoon molasses

Steps:

  • Place ribs bone side down in a large roasting pan. Combine garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper; sprinkle over ribs. Top with sliced onion. Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 hour., In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Drain fat from pan; discard sliced onion. Brush ribs with half of barbecue sauce. , Cover and bake 30-60 minutes longer or until ribs are tender. Serve with remaining sauce.
