1 cup water
1/2 cup catsup
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients (except liquid smoke) to stove pot and bring to a boil.
  • Cover and simmer for 20 minute.
  • add liquid smoke.

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons celery salt

1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 pinch onion powder
1 rack baby back ribs
barbecue sauce (Stubb's Mopin Sauce BBQ Baste)

Steps:

  • Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Rub 2/3 of the mixture onto front and back of ribs.
  • Lightly brush on barbecue sauce.
  • Grill.
  • Sprinkle remaining Rub onto top of ribs after grilling.

1/3 cup chopped onion
3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 lemon, juice of
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 bay leaf
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
  • Use as a basting sauce and topping for meats and poultry including chicken and turkey; beef roasts, steaks, and ribs; meat loaves and hamburgers; pork roasts, chops, tenderloin, and ribs; and bratwurst and hot dogs. 4°C.
