White Chocolate Chip Cookies image

Yield Makes about 4 dozen cookies or 48 servings, 1 cookie each.

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces
3 oz. BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
3 eggs
1-1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped
2 cups chopped walnuts, toasted
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Microwave semi-sweet and unsweetened chocolates and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until butter is melted, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool to room temperature.
  • Beat eggs and granulated sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add chocolate mixture and vanilla; mix well. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Add white chocolate chunks and walnuts; mix well. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, on greased baking sheets.
  • Bake 10 minutes or until cookies are slightly cracked but still moist. Cool 2 minutes; remove from baking sheets. Cool completely on wire racks. Sprinkle evenly with powdered sugar.
