Whiskey-Cheese Fondue image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pound Extra-sharp cheddar cheese - Shredded
1/2 pound Mantarey Jack cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
2 cloves Garlic - Cloves, halved
1 cup Dry White Wine
3 tablespoon Whiskey
2 dashes Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper
3 cups Crusty Bread, Breadsticks, or Veggies

Steps:

  • In a bowl, toss the cheddar and Jack cheeses with the cornstarch.
  • Rub the garlic cloves on the inside of a saucepan, then discard. Add the wine tc 1he saucepan and bring to a sirrmer.
  • Add 1ha cheese rrixture in 4 batches, whisking constantly aver moderate heat and tatting it matt camplately between additions.
  • Add the whiskey and stir just until the fondue begins to bubble, 3 minutes.
