Vietnamese BBQ chicken image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 kg Chicken thigh fillet
1 piece Shallot whole
6 cloves Garlic
1 tablespoon Turmeric
1 teaspoon Sea salt
1 tablespoon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Five spice
4 pieces Kaffir lime leaves
1 teaspoon Chili flakes
1 teaspoon Sesame oil
1 tablespoon Fish sauce

Steps:

  • Chop garlic and shallot
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl using gloves to prevent turmeric stains on hands
  • Leave to marinate for 3 hours
  • Fry in extra sesame oil or barbeque
