Let's be honest here. We don't always have time (or patience) to make jambalaya the old-fashioned way. Instead, we make this VELVEETA Jambalaya Skillet.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 pkg. (12 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Natural Uncured Beef Sausage, sliced
1 green pepper, chopped
2-1/4 cups water
1 pkg. (14.3 oz.) VELVEETA CHEESY SKILLETS Dinner Kit Jambalaya

Steps:

  • Cook and stir sausage and peppers in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 to 7 min. or until sausage is lightly browned and peppers are crisp-tender. Add water, Seasoning Mix and Pasta; stir. Bring to boil; cover.
  • Simmer on medium-low heat 11 to 13 min. or until pasta is tender and most the water is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in VELVEETA Cheese Sauce.
