TORTELLINI IN BROTH AND ESCAROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 cans (14.5 oz) chicken broth
2 cups water
1 bay leaf
1 medium esacarole (cut in 11/2" pieces
1 lb cheese tortellini
kosher salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Combine chicken broth, water and bay leaf in large pot. Bring to a boil. Add esacarole. Cook 15 seconds. Add tortellini. Cook 5 minutes until floating. Discard bay leaf. Season with kosher salt and pepper.
