Texas Hash Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup dry rice (2 when cooked)
1/2 green pepper, diced
1/4 sweet onion, diced
1 lb ground hamburger
3 small cans tomato sauce
Grated parmesan shake cheese

Steps:

  • Start the rice (you want it to be almost done but still a little hard). Cut the pepper and onion; fry them in a small skillet until tender. Fry the hamburger and drain.
  • When all 3 are done cooking.... put the rice, veggies, hamburger, and sauce in a mixing bowl, and mix together. Transfer mix in a med size casserole dish and sprinkle with shake cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
