This came from a friend of mine that made this recipe. Its really good, wanted to share for something new at your holiday table.

Steps:
- Mix the first 1,2,3,4,5 ingredients in a bowl, spoon into a prepare 8 X 8 baking dish.
- Then mix topping 6,7,8,9 all together sprinkle on top of yams. Then put taps of butter on top of the topping.
