Slow Cooker Tangy Heinz 57 Sauce Chicken image

A simple, very delicious chicken dish. Serve over noodles or rice and serve with a salad and garlic bread.

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 1 large roasting chicken, quartered
2 tablespoon(s) butter
1/2 cup(s) heinz 57 steak sauce
1 can(s) (15 ounces) stewed tomatoes

Steps:

  • Wash and dry chicken parts with paper towels and place in large, sprayed, slow cooker.
  • In a large saucepan, combine butter, 57 sauce and stewed tomatoes. Heat just until butter melts and ingredients mix well. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
