This is another cake recipe that my kids just love. It's a little time consuming but well worth it. Enjoy

Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 box yellow cake mix, following directions on box. use milk instead of water and add an extra egg
FUDGE FROSTING
1 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1/4 c evaporated milk
2 1/2 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla extrac

Steps:

  • 1. I use Betty Crocker butter cake but any yellow cake will work. Follow instructions on the box but instead of water, use milk and add an extra egg to the mix. Divide batter into six pans sprayed with Pam with Flour. Bake for about 15 minutes. It wont take long to bake these, so just keep your eyes on them. You will have to do it in 2 or 3 at a time, unless you have a humungous oven to put them all in. lol
  • 2. As the layers are cooling on racks, make your frosting. This recipe will frost all six layers.
  • 3. Frosting: Bring all ingredients to a boil. Boil 1 minute by the clock. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; cool by stirring.
