Sherry Pudding Cake image

1 package (18.25 ounce) yellow cake mix
1 package (3.5 ounce) vanilla instant pudding mix
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup cream sherry
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease and flour one 10 inch tube pan or Bundt pan.
  • Mix together the cake mix, vanilla pudding, vegetable oil, cream sherry, eggs, vanilla and almond extracts and poppy seeds. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for approximately 7 minutes.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
