SESAME BROWN RICE image

Number Of Ingredients 6

2-1/2 cups chicken broth or water
1 cup brown rice
½ tsp kosher salt
2 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp thinly sliced green onions

Steps:

  • Bring water or broth to a boil. Add the rice and salt, stir once, reduce heat to low, cover and cook until all the liquid is absorbed 35-45 minutes. Toast sesame seeds until they are fragrant. Set aside. Drizzle sesame oil onto rice evenly and add sprinkle half the sesame seeds. Fluff the rice, then serve. Top with remaining sesame seeds and green onions.
