This is from garage sale cook-book, I just may make this for Thanksgiving Dinner, of course I will have to double recipe, and use 2 cups of shredded cheese, and may substitute crushed Ritz crackers for bread crumbs, also find some way to add a little bite, not anything that will jump out and grab you by the throat, not for...

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 lb pkg frozen broccoli
1 cup egg noodles
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 1/2 oz jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tbs butter
dash salt & and add pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Cook broccoli and noodles to pkg directions. In greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, blend soup and milk together until smooth.
  • 2. Stir in broccoli and noodles, cheese and mushrooms. Add pepper to taste. Combine bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle on top of mixture.
  • 3. Bake at 350 for approximately 30-35 minutes, or till browned to your satisfaction.
