SALISBURY STEAK PATTY
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1(10.5 oz) can(s) condensed french onion soup
1 egg
4 slice buttered bread, toasted pieces
1 onion diced
2 Tbsp beef bouillon
2 clove garlic
SALISBURY GRAVY
1 Tbsp flour
1/4 c ketchup
1/4 c water
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tsp beef bouillon
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/2 Tbsp onion powder
1/2 Tbsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, mix together 1/3 cup condensed French onion soup with ground beef, egg, toasted bread pieces, beef bouillon, onion and garlic. Shape into 6-8 oval patties.
  • 2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown both sides of patties. Pour off excess fat.
  • 3. In a small bowl, blend flour and remaining soup until smooth. Mix in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, beef bouillon, black pepper, all onion + garlic + mustard powders. Pour over meat in skillet. Cover, and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt to your taste.
