Russ's Baked Pecan Catfish image

How about a non-traditional approach to a true American classic? Hearty and rich, but quick and easy to prepare.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 catfish fillets
2 Tbs. milk
3 Tbs. Dijon mustard
1 C. ground pecans
salt and pepper
butter

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine milk and Dijon mustard. Dip fillets into mustard mixture, then roll fillets (pressing lightly) into ground pecans.
  • Shake off excess. Oven bake in lightly buttered dish at 500 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until catfish flakes easily. Salt and pepper to taste.
