Roast Pork Loin With Brown Sugar Glaze image

Mildly spicy pork roast that is good for a cool Sunday afternoon dinner. I like to season the pork loin a few hours before I roast the meat. Also works great on the Rotisserie of your Gill.

2 -2 1/2 lbs pork loin roast
1/4 cup McCormick's Montreal Brand steak seasoning, by mccormick
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground mace
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup cider vinegar

Steps:

  • Season pork Lion with Montreal Steak Seasoning and sugar let sit for a few hours.
  • Preheat Oven to 325.
  • Mix together all glaze ingredients.
  • Roast 30 to 40 minutes per pound about an hour and 1/2 for 2 to 2 1/2 lbs roast.
  • Place seasoned pork loin in a roasting pan on a rack insert meat thermometer into the center of the roast. Cook the roast till the thermometer reads 160 degrees. During the the last 45 minuets brush the brown sugar gaze on the pork several times.
