Roast Pork Lo Mein image

Number Of Ingredients 9

12 ounces Chinese egg noodles
2 tablespoon Sesame oil
3 tablespoon soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1 1/2 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger

Steps:

  • Bring medium pot of water to boil. Add noodles and cook per package instructions. Drain the noodles, rinse under cold water, and drain again, shaking well to remove excess water. Return noodles to pot, toss w sesame oil until noodles are well coated and set aside.
  • Prepare sauce: in small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine and honey. Set aside.
  • Heat wok or skillet over high heat. Add oil and swirl to coat pan. Add garlic, ginger, and scallions and stir-fry until aromatic, about 30 seconds. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  • Add noodles and pork. Pour in sauce mixture and toss until noodles and pork are heated through and well coated. Serve.
