1 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated pecorino
2 tbs chopped parsley
1 egg
2 tbs water
3 portobello mushrooms
1 cup flour

Steps:

  • mix breadcrumbs, pecorino, parsley and some salt/pepper in a bowel. Beat 1 egg with water in another bowl. scrape gills from mushrooms and cut into strips. Dredge in then dip in egg, then into the crumbs. Fry in vegetable oil until golden Serve with sauce of any kind.
