BANANA WALNUT SOUR CREAM BREAD image

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup toasted chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine sugar, sour cream, vegetable oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl; beat until creamy. Add bananas; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; beat at low speed until moistened. Gently stir in walnuts. Spread into 4 greased 3-by-5-inch baking pans. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; turn out of pan. Cool completely. Cut into slices. Store covered.
