Steps:
- 1. Set oven to preheat to 425 degrees. In hot skillet, brown pork chops well on both sides (lightly spray skillet with cooking spray or use non-stick coated skillet. Don't use fat or oil). Place pork chops in a 3 qt. baking dish.
- 2. In same skillet, saute garlic in pan drippings. Add flour, salt, pepper; Mix well. Add water; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Add applesauce, lemon juice; mix. Pour over pork chops.
- 3. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until tender--baste occasionally.
