Peas with Onions image

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 tablespoons water
2 cups fresh shelled peas or 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
pinch of dried oregano
salt

Steps:

  • 1 Pour the oil into a medium saucepan. Add the onion and 2 tablespoons of the water. Cook, stirring frequently, until the onion is very tender, about 15 minutes. 2 Stir in the peas, the remaining 2 tablespoons of water, the oregano, and the salt.
