Steps:
- Dressing: Blend first 5 ingredients in blender. Add oil and blend again. Stir in poppy seeds. Salad: Put chopped pecans in saucepan with sugar. Heat on low heat until sugar is melted, but not until it disappears. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Toss other ingredients in bowl and top with cooled pecans. Use 1/2 of prepared dressing and toss again.
