PASTA VEGETABLE SALAD image

Sweetened condensed milk in pasta salad?! You bet! I wasn't so sure about it myself until I was thoroughly won over by this dish. The vinegar cuts the sweetness a bit, making for a super creamy salad that would be ideal for your next barbecue.

1 lb elbow macaroni-cooked
4 carrots shredded
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 onion-finely chopped
1 c celery-chopped
1 c frozen peas
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 c real mayo
1/4-1/2 c vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. MIX COOKED MACARONI, ONION,CELERY, CARROTS AND PEAS TOGETHER. MIX S.C. MILK, VINEGAR AND MAYO TOGETHER.
  • 2. POUR OVER PASTA AND VEGGIES. MIX THOUROUGHLY. CHILL FOR 24 HOURS (I USUALLY CHILL IT UNTIL COLD)
